Prohibition ended in Nebraska on August 9th, 1933, and Ole's opened at 12:01 the next day. Since then, we've been known as the bar in Paxton with great food and unusual decor. Over the years, our founder, the great outdoorsman Ole Herstedt, embarked on adventures in big game hunting that took him to every continent. Good food. No foofoo just real food. Service was very good.
Great service and food. Our waitress was awesome. Very cool decorations. Less than a mile from the interstate. Wish we would've had more time to explore the town. The people seemed very friendly and hospitable

Wish it was closer to home.. it is a great place. The older (not meaning bad) waitress was great, very sweet lady, enjoyed her service and the food was wonderful.
