Prohibition ended in Nebraska on August 9th, 1933, and Ole's opened at 12:01 the next day. Since then, we've been known as the bar in Paxton with great food and unusual decor. Over the years, our founder, the great outdoorsman Ole Herstedt, embarked on adventures in big game hunting that took him to every continent. Been hitting this place for 14 years on my way to Wyoming. Never disappointed. Be back next year.
Buffalo burger was amazing and so were the sweet potato fries! We'll be back!
We stopped here on our way to Colorado and had a very nice experience! Our wattress, Karen, made some great recommendations and we were very happy with our food.
Def the gem of Nebraska... friendly and polite and def the best ive been at....
Excellent. Service and food were great. Crispy hash browns with chicken fried steak. Treyton was an excellent server.
