Prohibition ended in Nebraska on August 9th, 1933, and Ole's opened at 12:01 the next day. Since then, we've been known as the bar in Paxton with great food and unusual decor. Over the years, our founder, the great outdoorsman Ole Herstedt, embarked on adventures in big game hunting that took him to every continent. We always stop at Ole's in Paxton, NE to eat on our way to Colorado and on our way home...food and service is ways excellent! Thank you Ole's...

My husband and I have been a few times. We decided to bring our son & 2 nephews ages 8-11. They loved it! They looked around at the animals and played some pool. Food was amazing, as always, and the service was great.
