I put in a claim due to hail damage and they won’t give me the money to fix my roof. They want me to pay whole amount out of pocket before they pay me out.

Business response:

I was sold Traveler's Business Insurance (worker's comp) through a broker. I paid for the first year and then went through a Premium Audit. I made less money than I was insured for so I expected a decent refund. I got back $6.00. When I realized I made way less than the minimum amount they would insure me for, I canceled my policy. I spoke to a Traveler's representative and explained the situation asking for a prorated refund for year 2 since I was only insured for five weeks. Instead of refunding most of my money, they refu... read more

Currently in process with my first auto accident claim in well over 25 years. I was so desperate for any evidence of cooperation or partnership to a resolution in this matter that I requested Travelers might make a small concession to me as a Disabled American. Travelers made it crystalline clear that that was not in their slightest interest. My c;aims contact has left several messages. I, and a room full of my friends cannot understand the man. Requesting a different contact was not an option. I reached out to his superviso... read more

Travelers Insurance Company has got to be one of the world’s most incompetent, lamest and laziest insurance companies on the planet. One of Travelers business clients committed fraud and performed careless repairs on my vehicle. I provided Travelers with photos, videos, mechanic comments and repair estimates. Travelers then claimed that they have to see the vehicles damages anyway. Obviously, Travelers likes to play the role of an ASE Certified Mechanic. They recommend that I not drive the vehicle but then refused to give me... read more

Horrible customer service. They don’t care. Lost information given like the Witness’ info. We had to resend and it wasn’t much later on that they contacted the witness. The agent claimed the witnesses story isn’t same as any of ours! The insured person lied like crazy! Even said others were hit by us when only he hit us! I do not recommend Travelers at all for any reason! Jake N***** and Stacey D**** are who we dealt with. Awful business practices. Cannot investigate either!

Im new to Travelers Auto insurance- having come from a prior job with a company car. Travelers asked for proof of prior auto insurance and I submitted what was required. I was never warned my policy would be cancelled if I did not submit this information. I was told it would be Rerated. So I sent in the full documentation and woke up today to be told my policy is cancelled. What customer service. And I come accident free over 30 years, Zero points on license, and near perfect FICO.

I got an insurance broker because I thought that would be the smart thing to do once I moved to CA and I had my first car and everything. My broker chose Travelers which I wasn’t really into but he said it was the best coverage and he best price so I went with it. I got into 2 MAJOR total accidents within 6 months. The first one the lady ran a red light and t boned me and the second I pulled out of my parking structure at my apartment and someone smashed my into my car going 50 MPH. They put me at fault for one because of th... read more
