I was sitting at a red light when a man hit my car in the rear end. The police officer said I was not at fault. Even though the man was backing up when I got out of the car, he told police someone hit him, and pushed his car into mine. I could not prove that he was lying. ***** refused to pay, saying their client was innocent. Travelers said I would be responsible to pay $500 of my deductible, to cover the $526 estimate. Oh but they were willing to pay $26. This man was responsible to have control of his car at all times. He... read more

This is the most awful, crooked company! We currently have Travelers and two weeks ago, a semi tire flew off and hit my 2 month old car on the freeway. The other insurance company admitted fault right away. My insurance adjuster who was assigned to me was terrible. He didn't have the answer to any of my questions and when I asked him how I was supposed to travel 4 hours away (where the accident happened) to retrieve my belongings, he stated, "well, you would obviously drive". He was a complete jerk and when I asked to speak ... read more

We were absolutely sure that our deductible is $500 - it is stated so in our original policy. When our property was damaged by severe hailstorm Travelers adjuster told us that our deductible is 2% of property value for hail damage and we were notified by the company. We never received such notification. 2% of property value made our insurance claim useless. All other property owners around us repair their roofs and insurance companies pay for it with small deductible. Travelers is tricky and unreliable. They want your money ... read more

As a insurance company all claims should justified. One of their insurers caused an accident and lied about it. their consumers to lie about accident and they don't encourage them to tell the truth

Horrible customer service. Was treated like I didn't matter and the claims adjuster literally walked up to the car snapped a pic or two and left. Half of what was wrong with the car wasn't on the estimate because of this. I'm talking plainly visible damage wasn't on the estimate. Then when I try to get it fixed all I get is the run around. Horrible. Dropping them asap for this experience.

My apartment ceiling flooded, cracked, and sloped down due to water damage when the roof was being repaired (there was water damage previously in another unit and some in mine before this happened). The damage was extensive and I had to move apartment units, and the water damage & mold had ruined my couch, mattress, and several other items. I wasn't sure if I was covered in my policy so I contacted Travelers to inquire and was told an agent would come out to review my items. He showed up 15 mins late, took a few photos, and ... read more

After paying out $$ over 7 years, we had water damage in our bathroom and kitchen downstairs. Travelers was great to pay what was needed but literally dropped us because we had taken out a claim. The one star is only for our adjuster who was super nice.

I am currently experiencing the most unpleasant experience with Travelers home insurance. A tree fell on my home on March 30th and if that wasn’t bad enough, dealing with the adjusters at Travelers has been an even more difficult experience. There is no empathy, concern, or sense of urgency in the grouping of adjusters that I have been assigned. It is now 2 weeks later and I still have a tarp on my roof & I am still sleeping on the sofa because my bedroom ceiling is missing. The adjuster issued the initial check incorrectly ... read more

I have had Travelers auto insurance for two years with my truck (Florida). Travelers has been great since day 1. They are very friendly and straightforward. I have had to make 2 claims. One when a rock damaged my front windshield, and the other when I had an emergency and needed an immediate tow. Both situations were handled seamlessly and I had no problems. Thank you Travelers!!!
