I will ABSOILUTELY NOT go to UNC for my health care - MOSTLY because when I am trying to read something on the internet your advertisement won't allow me to read an entire scentence without covering it up...then I click off ad and read 1/2 scentence and it pops up AGAIN...THIS IS AGGRIVATING ESPECIALLY AFTER A VERY DIFFICULT DAY AT WORK but it keeps coming up and I truly hate the disruption to my reading!!!!
UNC Health Care charged me $4786.00 for a CT scan that I could have gotten at the Durham Diagnostic Imaging Clinic for $460.00. The only explanation I can get out of the UNC Health people is that hospitals have "overhead" that clinics do not. Yeah right! Over 10 times the "overhead?" They call it "overhead." I call it "greed." Unless I'm a couple minutes away from dying, I will never set foot in another UNC Health Care facility.
