UNC has decent medical care but their billing department is the worst!!!!!!!! For over a year I had a bill they kept claiming they filed and never did and then I finally talked to someone competent who actually did it. But for a whole year I had a 4000 bill they were going to make me pay!!! Then this week they sent me a check for $10 and said I over paid and I cashed it and now I got a bill for $10!!! Wtf!!!!! Get your stuff right!!!
Love UNC, Dr Brotherton at the Hillsborough Campus my oncologist for nine years as well as Dr Melissa Rich Gastroenterology that treats my Gastroparesis . Then at the Chapel Hill Campus is Dr Karla Pou, my endocrinologist that treats my diabetes and Amy Ford PA is always there for any anxiety or coping skills needed! The doctors and their staff are always very nice and always in touch and readily available if needed. Very knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommend UNC and drive about 1.5 hours to get there! Don't ignore people who walk into your hospital.
My dad is receiving chemo in the cancer hospital. I have no complaints with the staff there. We brought him into the ER due to complications from chemo. He literally laid in the bed for five hours with no one checking on him. We had to repeatedly go over details with the dr. She forgot pertinent details and was completely discombobulated the entire time. on 5/24/2019 I was at one of the unc hospital over a infected teeth they prescribed me antibiotics that didnot work so I returned on 5/27/2019 on the receptionist was rude as hell with me I would not take my dog to the unc in siler City NC the doctors don't know what they are doing I'm proof of that
I recommend UNC HEALTH CARE A Millions times because they’re take care of my wife during her heart surgery. Thanks God for everyone that serve helping others in their most difficult times, may God bless them.
