went to the ER for a refill on my prescription, as I dont have a primary care or health insurance, that was the only place I can get a prescription. got no examination, since I told them ahead of time what I was there for. was in and out within few minutes, then I got a bill for $190 for the less than a minute of their time. when I called, they said that's the minimum charge. absolutely price gouging, and taking advantage of people..... receptionist was rude, but that's beside the point. if you dont have health insurance, I ... read more

Nurses and nursing assistants are great. caring kind and attentive. Excellent patient care.
I made an appointment with UNC pulmonology in Kinston in December after an abnormal CT. The first available appoinment was in March. Four days before the appointment, they called and cancelled my appointment. It was rescheduled for May 28th. So, I have to wait 6 months to be seen? With Blue Cross? I don't understand this at all. I guess they may call me in May a week before and cancel then.
