Since 2013, I have been a patient at UNC 19 times. I have to say that I couldn’t have picked a better place to be.
I just returned home after a central line infection and must say the entire experience was as pleasant as a hospitalization can be. From the unanticipated ER visit, to inpatient, and finally discharge everyone I came across was compassionate and respectful. My nurses and doctors listened to my concerns attentively then effectively collaborated and carried out the plan to get me ready to return home.
I have always liked UNC from the first time I was admitted there in the year of 2000 great DRS. And Nurses in every area I’ve had medical issues with . NO.1
This hospital has saved my life many times. I cannot say enough to express how amazing these doctors and staff are here. ❤️ I have an uncontrollable, life-changing disability, but they don't give up on me like all the other healthcare systems have done.
I love this place
The team was AMAZING that worked on my son to see why he was pooping blood. I can never thank yall enough for the warm welcome that yall showed. Yall are truely amazing and I fully have trust in yall. God Bless
I was released last week after having to stay in the hospital for almost 3 weeks. Overall, I'm glad my husband took me here instead of another hospital. The team of drs and nurses I had were better than I expected and I am on my way toward recovering. They took good care of me and followed up with me even after I was released from the hospital. I wish I would have came here a month ago when I had my first ER visit.
After sitting in the waiting room all day with family grieving for a loved one trying to make a decision as a family we are rudely interrupted by security telling us we have way to many family members here and that she was sending another officer to come help her separate our group to take half our group downstairs to another waiting room! Seriously unc we can’t even grieve as a family or was it because it was a huge family of African Americans! I was very disgusted by your staffs actions!
