doctor's nurse is unhelpful and has major bad attitude. You're in the business of providing CUSTOMER SERVICE to patients. If you can't be pleasant and genuinely helpful, you should quit or be fired. there are too many nice, helpful people who would gladly take your job and excellent at it. Your tude drives patients away from a wonderful doctor.

I went in today with back to back panic attacks and they gave me a benzo via IV which did nothing. Although I was literally laying on the floor shaking and crying having more panic attacks afterwards they planned on sending me home. They walked around me while I was in that condition like a woman shaking and crying in a hospital floor is normal. And that nurse call button didn’t work so I was unable to notify anyone. So I walked out AMA. If I’m not going to get help and keep having back to back panic attacks I can do that fr... read more

Medical care is excellent, but the financial arm of UNC Health is horrible. You will receive notice from Professional Recovery Consultants collection agency for amounts that you didn't know you owed and they will take money from your state tax refund for an outstanding debt that you didn't know that you owed. And it's not always for large amounts. They do it for amounts less than$100. If you use myuncchart, don't assume like I have that all charges will be reflected there. Be vigilant and don't assume anything.

UNC Health/UNC Rex has SOME good nurses and possibly other good clinicians, but if someone says something about an issue whether it be by social media or in a conversation you may be having with someone else may get someone almost giving you a mean look either that day or the next time that you work just because you said something unrelated to them. UNC Rex needs a lot of the main hospital building replaced due to being 40 years old this summer which would almost mean tearin...Continue Reading

Was told today by an ER employee that Caldwell Memorial Hospital (which is owned by UNC health) did not have the ability to perform a covid 19 antibody test. There are finger prick tests available at some clinics in the region. I found this surprising considering the level of seriousness the CDC has labeled this virus with. Clearly this particular healthcare system isn't taking covid-19 seriously.
