It’s unfortunate that I’m forced to do business with this company. My bank inadvertently sent them two payments from my bank account on March 13th. That’s over $32,000. I was current and nothing was due at that time. I am now jumping through hurdles to get my money back. They asked that I send transmittal forms to their payment research department. This has been the worst experience of my history with mortgage companies. My load was sold to NewRez LLC. on March 1, 2020. When I called on 3/2/20 to make my 2nd mortgage payment (I made the first payment with the original mortgage provider) New Rez informed me that I owe them for February payment as well. This was quite upsetting as I had a clear receipt of payment from the original provider and my bank statement showing the payment cleared. For some odd reason they've been reporting my account as "delinquent" to the credit bureaus, which it is NOT. Checking online, everything is current and there are no issues showing up on their website.Their customer service is horrendous. I've been on hold for hours. Left my number for a call back thrice, and have never received a response. This is nothing new for them. Frustrating and unacceptable. I have two investment properties that were both sold to NewRez at the same time. First, they applied payments from property one to property two. The mailing address is the same for both but one is in my name, the other in my wife's. Scary that would do that when the title doesn't even match. Second, to correct the problem, we sent a double payment on property one to fix the problem. We then were getting delinquent notices. Started a VA IRL on Dec 10th, 2019. It's now March 26th and loan was never closed on. They kept making excuses as waiting on documents, processor was out sick, excuse after excuse. All of a sudden the loan application has disappeared. HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!! STAY AWAY!!!

Our mortgage was sold and officially transferred to NewRez by Ditech January 2020. We thought all was well and good since both February & March automatic payments went to NewRez without issue. This was until it came time for NewRez to pay our Home Insurance from our escrow account. Backstory... My mortgage was transferred to NewRez from DiTech in Dec 2019. Inaccuracies have caused by monthly payment to increase by $200/mnth. They've failed to return emails, phone reps fail to dictate proper notes, and the only response has been generic form letters. They failed to acknowledge current homeowners insurance policy and tried to charge me for that. They reflect a wrong amount for pmi. This is NOT the worst customer service. The customer service is completely nonexistant. You call the number, and they say "due to unforseen circumstances, we are unable to connect you with a representative." You can press one for more self-serve options. I pushed one, and it went back to the original message saying they can't connect you with a representative. So you can go to the website, where the only option is to make a payment, or you can pay by phone. You can pay, or pay, or pay. The only thing you can't do is speak to... read more

Been working for two weeks trying to get a refinance completed. Our "agent" was quick to raise the loan rate a full point when the market had an uptick. The market has been dropping steadily for a week and he refuses to return a call. Lots of double speak and I don't have the papers in front of me bullshit. There isn't anyone you can speak to. Call their number and it routes back to the same voicemail box of the agent you have been working with .
