HORRIBLE Absolutely NO customer service. Took over my loan from ditech as of 1/1/2020. HOWEVER, I was told that they could not accept payments until "your loan is not set up yet", and you cannot make payments until we get it in our system. What kind of a company sets up purchases WITHOUT making sure the customers can make payments? I set up billpay with my bank to send the payment, HOWEVER, when I received my monthly statement an "overdue payment" charge was on the account.. I started a refi process on Nov 12. All documentation requested of me was provided within 24 hours. I had my home inspection done by mid Nov, my rate lock was valid until Jan 4. By mid Dec I received word that everything was a go and that a closing agent would be contacting me to schedule a closing. Dec 28 someone finally contacted me and asked for the same information that I had submitted back in Nov, again I provided the requested information. In the mean time Jan 4th came and went. My mortgage was transferred from Ditech to NewRez, supposedly effective December 1, 2019. I did not receive any paperwork from NewRez until approximately mid-December. This paperwork told me to go ahead and make my December, 2019 payment to Ditech and then Ditech would forward it to NewRez. So, I made an electronic payment to Ditech, which was then put back into my bank account. Then I tried to get a payment address from NewRez, so I could send them my December, 2019 payment. Just took over my mtg. No envelope so i can pay being sent to me and when i call they play phone tag and ask me to pay by phone which i dont want to do. So call again and after long hold time again said send you info by email just send it to address we give you. Of courae email says contact my insurance company and have them notify us your covered. What happenned to escrow from other company? Understand bad reviews already. Joining the nightmare which is new rez

Absolute garbage. Loan was bought by Newrez, had no say in the company. I have had a supplimental tax bill since byinng the house and sent requset for it ot be paid (as per their instruction) three weeks ago. STILL has not been paid from my money oin my escrow account. ALWAYS have "high volume of calls" as their staff are utterly USELESS. they are the f*^^%ing WORST

Don't use this company to finance even a used dog house. They sent my escrow tax money to a "holding company" but holding company didn't pay my taxes. County is putting house up for tax sale and putting my name in paper for not paying my taxes. Couldn't tell me how to contact the holding company and kept repeating that they paid the taxes. Even sent me the personal financial information of someone else in an email to prove they had paid the taxes, ignoring my complaint that the holding company they used didn't pay the taxes.... read more

NewRez LLC is a shell company for S********* ******** ********* and were once called NEW PENN FINANCIAL, LLC who is now in litigation for crooked practices https://www.classaction.org/media/abat-v-new-penn-financial-llc.pdf. This organization needs to be investigated for charging bogus late fees etc. No sense in reaching out to the idiot running HUD as it is that Republican brain dead Ben C*****!! Everyone work together and end Republican Corruption.

The company try to foreclose our home... without any notice! And Oh Yes my loan was transferred too.. Problem ever since that happened. How they really have an A+ rating?????

Mortgage just sold to this company,and just to get start with info WAS A JOKE! Chandler Az. Greenville,SC, Georgia finally nice lady in Texas who was with Shellpoint Mtg.(NOT NewRez) helpful the servicing company. WILL NEVER CALL NEWREZ again if I can help it!!!!!
