I have had nothing but issues and given the runaround by this company for the past month dealing with wrong information, rude representitives, extremely long hold times when asks to speak with a supervisor and worst yet missing my money from a direct deposit. When trying to get help tracking down whats happening they love to play the blame game on the other side as they are "just the receiving end" of the deposit. I am surprised it has such negative reviews, absolutely shocked. I have been a Netspend customer / card holder for 3 years and use it for my day to day transactions, bill pay, and have my direct deposit go to this account. I've never had any troubles, not charged for transactions because of the amount I deposit I guess, that's what I've read. Good evening, I have spent the entire evening trying to activate my daughters prepaid card. She originally called earlier to activate the card for her trip. The card was purchased for daughter. When she attempted to activate the card she was told to call back with her legal guardian. I called back with hopes or activating the card. I received a card that I did not apply for and feel this is poor business. You can not shove a credit card down the throats of customers and think that you can maintain any type of good business standards. Terrible Business Practice.. Makes sense why you have a Better Business Bureau rating of F

This company sent me prepaid mastercard (with account #, routine #, debit card #) without my knowledge. Where they get my name and address, possibly my SSN?

This company, NetSpend, is positively criminal! I tried to activate my card so I could have my pay check direct deposited onto it and they said I needed to send them proof of ID, Social Security, and address. I did all three and they would not accept two of the VALID forms I sent. Finally after much aggravation, I decided to just activate as a one time use card. My 13 year old son received their prepaid Visa debit card in the mail. He's not even an adult obviously. How in the world does this company have his information. My wife and I read through the documentation in the letter. Very shady, it's worded to my son as though he requested this card. How do we get his name removed from their system?
