Even though you might get your direct deposit a day early than most it’s not worth it. You can’t withdraw money from most atms that are legitimate, you cannot send money from apps, & if you have a problem with your account without authorization they will shut down your card at any moment. So without notice you can buy lunch or pay a bill that’s due, without knowing your card will be blocked. I am a government employee I was still charged a monthly fee. The customer service is unprofessional, just a big of waste for coins.

I've been waiting since Dec. 20 on my replacement card and its been two weeks now. I finally had enough waiting and went to buy a new card in order to transfer my funds onto my new card. The customer representative on three different calls told me that they sent my transfer request to be processed today in which it would take 4!! Hours to complete. Fees, fees, fees for everything. You may get your paycheck early, but not without the burdensome fees. As well as their non-functional website which forces you to use their automated phone system, which is also ridden with fees for use. Not to mention their customer service, which consists of a noisy calling center, though the employees were helpful. Absolutely horrendous and a scam at best. I would never recommend to anyone who wants to keep their money.

My husband and I were given a $100 netspend visa debit card for Christmas. I went online to activate the card and had to register the card. I did so, then was taken to a page that said my information wasn't verified and I had to call to activate the card. I called, and the rep said she needed more information. Had a block placed on my card without my consent. Was told to purchase a temporary card for my funds to be released on, but the funds was never released. Have called several times and still don't have a answer. I have over $1500 that I can't gain access to at this point. This is the worst prepaid company I've ever dealt with.

Netspend just sent my 15 year old son one of their cards. When I called to get his name of list they told me they needed the card number. I did not give it to them because I have no idea what anyone could do with this number. When I asked for a supervisor they told me they could not get one and had no other number to call.

Recently direct deposit have been coming later and later. You call netspend the company automatically assumes its a "you" issue or "they" issue they as your employer when in actuality when I do my research fcebook hasnumerous complaints, insragram, ****** consumers, bbb, so its a netdoend issues thousands of people have not recieve their payroll checks and its 4 days before christmas this company is a scam and needs to be shut down!!!!!

We were given a pre-paid netSpend card as a gift. Tried to get gas and was asked for a PIN. No PIN on activation receipt. Called and emailed netSpend for directions on how to use the card. Eventually spoke with a rep who said they needed to collect some info from me in order to activate the gift card. "Some info" included date of birth and social security number. I have been a customer of Netspend for many years with Direct Deposit. I have been employed with the same company for 4 years and every 2 weeks I receive my direct deposit. A couple months ago I was expecting a huge commission that I worked ver yhard for and my deposit was going to be around $16,000.
