I have never had a problem with netspend in 4 years now all of a sudden i have not received my payroll direct deposit. Horrible customer service just passing the buck to get off the phone with me. Then ask to speak with a supervisor and sat on the phone for 2 hrs still no supervisor. call back and complain again and all customer service does is says sorry and says its on Metabanks end not posting direct deposit!!!!!! I've been a customer for three years, and have been pretty satisfied overall. I am having a very big problem right now - they have stolen my direct deposit! My employer issues checks on the 15th. Direct deposit almost always clears two or three days before. Well, it is the 16th, and there is no sign of my money. I, along with thousands of other customers, am still waiting for my overdue money. All of my coworkers who use different banks received their funds days ago. I'm quite sure that this is illegal. All of a sudden my direct deposit is not in my acct. Apparently I am not the only one as I've researched the multiple complaints online. They are aware of the issue but have no definitive answer as to when it will be resolved. I work hard for my money and I expect to have it when promised. This is beyond ridiculous! How long have they known about this? They didnt have the decency to inform their PAYING customers! Unbelievable. They have until 11:59pm to have my $ plus some kind of consolation or I will be suing.

I bought a Netspend card and had it for 3 weeks before it was locked, which I have since learned this is a common occurrence. I have over $150 on that card and no way to access it. When I called the company they sent me to the high-risk Department in which I waited 20 minutes on hold with no answer and had to hang up because I had to leave for work. I wish I would have done a little bit more research and red the thousands of reviews online that would have warned me about this company.

Got this UNSOLICITED card in the mail. Immediately smelled a scam. Emailed them to take me off any kind of mailing list. Wanted an explanation and tried to call, but every option meant you had to activate the card or give them your SS# before the "recording" would go any further, which of course I refused to do. I cut up the card and threw it away. Consumer beware!

This company is a joke, I have them on a recorded line perjuring themselves over and over again. They do not have the consumers interest at heart but they only have their best interest at heart and screwing over the consumer. DONT USE THEM THEY ARE A COMPLETE JOKE. I have the recording of my dealings with them and the continual lying they do and I am more than happy to share with anyne that wants them.

Horrible bank they steal your money. Charged me two plan fees but then turns around and says it’s for another month but I was already charged the fee in thhat month. When you call them they put you on hold for 30mins plus hoping you hang up..

I have used Netspend for several years now. I have not had any problems with them and it is very easy to manage my account. I have lost a card in the past and I was able to quickly go on the website and disable the card and order a new one. There are no overdraft fees and I get a text every time my card is used. Much better than any traditional bank that I have used. I use direct deposit to load my card, otherwise, there is a reload fee. Bought a new card A FEW DAYS AGO from CVS. The total cost was$30. It has been hell trying to get this card activated. I keep calling the number and keep getting the run around by holding indefinitely with NO avail. I wish I never got this card, because the visa prepaid is WAY simpler to activate and use. BUYER BEWARE!!!
