no stars due to money being stolen..i had the card in my possession and two fraud charges of over 1000 dollars where charged... i had netspend before and cancelled due to this happening before. It has been over two weeks and no one has reached out. I am scared they are going to take my money because it income tax time. I just reordered a new card with hopes that this resolved quickly. I have called and they told it will take a week for them to return the money and i have not seen anything even though they cancelled my accoun... read more

Yesterday my card was locked by netspend. After going through a stressful day yesterday on the phone with several customer reps. I asked to be contacted by the corporate office. Someone called me first thing this morning from the corporate office saying that he was unlocking my card. And he did. I paid a invoice. Drove to the bank to get a cash Advance, guess what? They locked my card again.

They sent a pre approved card to a minor in the mail. Are they trying to have my child's identity stolen. This is a corrupt busyness that need to be out of business. Every time my child would have done anything with this company there were fees. They are preying on minors who are should never have been sent a pre approved card.

Honestly this company deserves to be rated 0 stars. They are one of the worse prepaid companies I've had dealings with. In addition to the outrageous fees they are poor when it comes down to communication, which makes them even more inconveniencing. I've dealt with the fees as well as the insolent customer service representatives for as long as I can remember so when my account is closed due to it being a "risk factor" and my online account is locked that deeply concerns me. This Corporation is sending out cards to anyone including minors. They say it is just marketing materials. No harm. They say if someone fills out survey online they could be a target to received one of their debit cards. Based on the reviews left here looks to be a company to stay away. Only gave one star as the system will not allow none.

The mobile app freezes. You can not check any of your banking information. If you try to check online it too freezes. Trying to email the corporation gets you nowhere as they do not return emails. You do have the option to call and check your balance however they charge you to do so! I feel as if this is a complete scam. They want to take your money with no help!

This company deserves a NEGATIVE review based on their horrible call center representatives and they blatant disrespect for their card members and our time. I had an issue on the account, called and spoke to a rep and was assured it would be handled. Have had to call back 10 times on the original issue. Requested a manager and was put on hold for literally an hour. The manager placed me on hold and then disconnected the call. I called right back and was hung up on 3 times IN A ROW!! I have reported this company to the better business bureau because they have let some steal over $800 from me. The fact that they would let a loyal customer walk away and they refusing to help them because the customer didn’t report theft in time their allowed time frame is beyond me it doesnt matter if it was the day week or month later the point is it was stolen. I’ve had this card since 2015. One of my main complaints is when you call customer service. First, the agents all have heavy accents and they are often quite difficult to understand. I find myself repeatedly asking them to repeat themselves and even then I’m not sure if I have understood them. Second, I get the run around and when I’ve had an issue that takes several phone calls I get a different answer from each agent I talk to so now I don’t ever believe what they’re telling me at all!!
