I received a card in the mail that I didn't ask for. Was told it was an unsolicited card and not to worry about it. I think this company is a fraud. Was told at 4:15 pm it would be 3 a minute wait on hold to talk with a supervisor. I am still on hold at 4:31 pm as I am typing this. I as many other reviews I have read feel like we have been scammed. I don't want to give them the card number in case they use it against me and think I am activating the card. Make sure that no one buys this product for a minor. It is not an easy task to get your money back. Still fighting with them because my daughter is unable to use her card even though I sent all paperwork, birth certificates, Id's, and social. They will tell you it is wrong and make you keep resending the same things over and over and over. My daughter is still waiting to spend her birthday money.
A few days ago I left a review about Netspend card. Here is a next revolution: I received a new card in 10 days as it was promised. I activated it on Netspend website. I receive a message that card is ready to use and I need just remove an activation sticker. I made a payment to Verizon which did not go thru. I called Netspend and a guy from Austin TX explained that it did not go thru because Verizon did not except it for some reason. I called Verizon and was told that Netspend stopped a transaction. I had an unauthorized transaction on my card. I disputed the transaction on June 18,2019. I was told by NetSpend that no billing error occurred. The place that took the money has been trying to send it back to my card and NetSpend keeps saying that they can't find it and that I need to call the merchant back and I will get an update on August 12, 2019. Somebody somewhere has this money and is being dishonest about this. All I want is my money back because$172.65 is a lot of money to just lose.

My neighbor called today to let me know that my 12 year old son received mail from this company with her address on it. Not knowing what Netspend was, I asked her to open it to find it was the prepaid card that could be activated. Not happy!!!! SERIOUSLY!
They are the worst ever! I called to disputed a transaction and was told I would have to cancel my and pay $25 to get another one, but I told the lady not to cancel my card and she did anyways, 1 day before payday. I called back and they put me on hold for 30 mins and never came back. This is so unprofessional. I am so lost for words that would play with people money like that.

Couple months ago I was a victim of identity theft I fell for them robo calls. They were pretended to be from the social security administration. They were good. They use my information that I provide them and made an unauthorized transaction on my debit card. I called NetSpend and they close my account. I reported it to the police they said just tell them to give you a new card. I told them they refuse they said report it to the FTC and go get another provider prepaid provider. Sending emails saying that "your card has been shipped" with the last 4 digits of a card number listed. After spending an hour trying to figure out if someone had tried to steal my identity, I finally saw at the bottom in size 2 font that "this is an advertisement".... Since when is saying that you have a credit card being shipped WITH an included last four digits of a card considered an advertisement? I will be following up with this complaint.
