Today I learned that your "system" rejected a $2000 IRS refund to my company account. This I can understand, as per banking laws this obstruction, but you're not a bank. My 11 year old daughter just received a card in the mail from NetSpend. When I called to try to talk to someone about it you can't get anyone live to speak with unless you activate the card. I have no idea how or why they would think it's appropriate to send this in the mail addressed to an 11 year old with a card that could be activated in her name. This corporation clearly is not doing it's due diligence on who they send cards to. I would urge everyone to avoid this company.

absolutely the worst service I have ever recieved, I will never use netspend again!! I bought 2 cards 1 for each of my teenage sons. Put 100 on each they appoved my 15 y.o card and said they couldn't approve my 17 y.o sons because he was a minor after I sent all their info in picture ids birth certs ss cards proof of address I have been trying to get this card activted for a week. now they "can't" activate it and because they can't activate it they can't transfer my money back to me!! I will never use them again!!
If 0 stars was an option. I would. I’ve been waiting hours for a dispute to be resolved that should’ve been done within 6 hours. Customer service is horrible!
Charges 2 dollar fee for every transaction with no notice. Do not buy this type of gift card go with a reputable reloadable like visa erc

Waited past 3 day mark for transfer. Call center does not open at 8. Those tasked with answering the phone just tell me to keep waiting and not make any attempt to explain why this is happening or assure me that my funds havent been stolen. I fear most of all that netspend now will receive my taxes. I hope it feeds someone, i really do. Never had a problem until they changed to metabank. If youre not stuck already than stay out.
Honestly i dont know how the bbb can keep a steady face while keeping this company at an A+ rating especially since there is only one star to begin with i mean come on there are too many people on here with the same stories. They charge foreign transactions fees even if the vendor is domestic and has never been based outside of the country. Theft by deception and fraud under any interpretation of the law.
Apparently they can change banks on you. I was expecting a deposit and within the span of 2 weeks they changed info so routing was different. This made the deposits go back and I had 2 wait on a paper check. Whats the point in direct deposit if it doesn't work. Just don't do business with them. Stay as far away as possible.
