This is apparently a fraudulent company. Deposited my money with them and they locked the card. They will not return any of my emails and their phone service will not answer. How is it that this company is still operating. Is anyone preparing a class action lawsuit that I could join?

Attempted to connect with NetSpend by phone and email for several days now. Both contact methods have been very disappointing and have not resolved my problem. My account was LOCKED due to suspicious online purchase activity. I do have a long wait time when i call and sometimes the line just hangs up i am guessing they don't have enough staffing or don't care enough about the people who were already on the call queue for an hour when it was time to clock out. A client bought a debit card to which they could load money and I could use to buy supplies when needed. Sounds like a smart plan! The card is from NetSpend and, once the fine print arrived, I used up the money on the card and killed it. NetSpend charges $2.00 _per_ transaction!! They also charge you $2.95 to buy the card, and $5.95 if you don't use the card for 90 days. The "interest" rate could be even higher if you make a bunch of small purchase! Say NO to NetSpend!!

I had a small business account with them and personal account , which I had to cancel because their information say that as long as my name was in the account I was able to get my money but during this pandemic my irs check was sent to my account and they didn't only reject it but , had my money since the 17th didn't notify me as they are supposed too but they "sent" it back to irs and never said a thing to me until today 04/22/2020 when I called to see when my money was going to able available they said sorry but your money... read more

Screw this place, they will cancel your card without your permission, they will take their time getting you a new one, while you have no money because all of your money is on the card

Let me ordered a card got direct deposit info then when my taxes make it to their system they tell me I cant get it security reasons on my social number. Now they let me get the card but won't activate it to get the little money I'm getting back.i recorded the conversation and let her know im contacting a lawyer. To much going on in the world to be playing with people money.

I received a notice to call to provide\confirm an ACH for my account. I recently added my fiance for his stimulus Hopefully you don’t need customer service during this time. I have spent two days trying to reach them. I’m on hold for hours, just to disconnected after all that time. Who sends out mass alerts for customers to call in, with a day window when the cant provide the service ??

I haven't received my replacement card and I called about two times before the Cornavirus. This was in Feb and the secondary temp card is charging me for every transaction. It is also an limit on the account to transfer money to another netspend account. I have called everyday 4x a day for two weeks with no one picking up. I have also emailed about this issue. I just want my funds and to close my account.
