For some reason I have been receiving card offers from Netspend. None of them are in my name; they have all been in DIFFERENT names. I find this very fishy, and have been trying to get through to customer service. They keep giving me a run around, saying they need me to call- to get through the automated system I have to either 1. enter my social security number which I refuse to do, or 2. enter the card number on "my" card, which I refuse to do, as it's not my name and I didn't order it. Terrible company, terrible customer service, and terrible security standards. They are unable to change my address they have on file (THAT THEY PUT IN WRONG) to the correct one and are now demanding I offer proof of residence at the WRONG address that they have on file. Purchased an item from an online vendor. Two days later I cancelled the order via the suggested route by the vendor. The order status continued to state processing. I preceded to contact the vendor numerous times without a response. After several weeks i received and email from the vendor stating they would cancel the order. I bought a prepaid card for my daughter to buy christmas gifts online. Well it was the worst ever idea as we went to activate it. realizing my daughter is a minor it wouldnt activate so I called. I was told i needed to send proof her birth certificate my mail bill my ss card and hers. to activate it. I received a legit prepaid mastercard debit card in the mail from NetSpend that I didn't request or apply for. All I have to do is activate it and it is ready to go, cool right? Well no because I didn't ask for it or apply for it! Why am I getting unsolicited credit cards? Cancelled my card with no notice. I learned this after adding 400 onto the card. Then it became a game of "wait for the check". Very poor customer service. Steer clear.

OK so I finally after eight months of waiting on my unemployment I finally was granted my unemployment to a net spend card a week after it was placed on the net spend card I was hacked for 6500 The hackers changed everything to do with my account except for my name and my Social Security number. I was out of town when all this was taking place The hackers managed to lock me out of my own account because they change my address on file each net spend employee I got when I called there would tell me less and less. Stealing money from people that buy a prepaid debit card and don't use it immediately and/or monthly. Actually cancelled my card despite having money/balance because I didn't use it for 5 months.

I received a debit card in the mail today and all the terms and agreements! I have no idea who these people are! I am very upset that this was sent to me. What if someone else received my mail and activated this card! They don't have the right to issue these cards without authorization. They don't use their heads!
