Worst company ever. I bought 5 visa cards for 50 dollars each intending to use them as one time card/gifts for my grand kids. I know it was a dumb idea. I was only able to use 40 dollars on one card then they lock the rest of them and the accounts I had set up. I tried to deal with them in a professional manner, I spent over 30 hours on the phone trying to get this situation straightened out. I sent an email asking someone to call me, no one did. Are you kidding me? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I bought this card at a Kroger Store a mile from my house in a fairly affluent part of town. I would have expected to be ripped off at, say a strip club or something. I called the number to activate the card in the parking lot of the store where I purchased it. I gave the info and at the end it said that it failed. What! It's a "Pre-paid card" It had me entering into their database my ?+%$@#&?d SS NO. and then rejected me after I paid the money for it and I had a receipt. Whats ... read more

Worst service EVER!!! My card is locked and I've been trying to get ahold of someone for over a week and NOBODY will answer the phones. I've emailed them and all they tell me is to call the risk management and customer service to verify my information but I can't verify it when I can't talk to anyone. I've called over 10 times a day for a week and haven't been able to speak with anyone to fix this problem. Once I get this figured out I will NEVER use Netspend AGAIN!!!

Worst company ever. I received a Netspend card expecting it was a gift card. Their process is to have you sign up and verify some information including your SSN. They then will send you a personalized card which you have to activate again. It would not take my password when I initially signed up. I then used their password reset process which emailed me a new password. After entering the temporary password it says my account is locked and to contact customer service. Cant get help and they are taking money daily but seem to justify the reason. Call and they say my card has been used but both card on my account are suppened..

Scumbag company sends out prepaid debit cards that you put your cash into and then charges you to use it. Sent an UNSOLICITED letter with debit card in your name and just activate it to sign up. Bunch of A holes
