Man talk about a company that kicks you while your down. So first, I had an on going dispute with them where the merchant tells me contact my bank to get the refund so I do, Netspend informs me to send proof that i returned services, so I send It to their dispute email, about a week later i call to check on my dispute an my money, the rep tells me she can’t help me, I asked To speak to someone that may be able to assist in that department, she says that departments doesn’t take phone calls, so I asked To speak to a superviso... read more

I was attempting to get a prepaid VISA and learned during activation the company requests personal identifiable info and then wanted scanned copies of info. Called company, rep said only option was to send in info, I declined, she then said go to store and get refund, I advised the store said card was activated and that wasn't an option, she insisted, I said let's do conference call, she declined, offering instead to restrict card to in store purchase. Filed a dispute 7/29/19 here we are 8/29/19 and no update no response no nothing they provide a support email for the dispute department JUST for you to only receive a scripted response no matter how many times you reach out to the support email and no matter how you word your concerns you will only receive the SAME MESSAGE over and over again this company is a joke there is far to many other options available to be dealing with a company that does not handle your concerns IN A TIMELY MANOR or at least allow you to talk to a... read more

My 18 year old son received a packet in the mail. He has no credit, so we were surprised to find a Mastercard attached to the letter. When you read more into it, it is promoted as a prepaid Mastercard where you can get paid up to 2 days faster when you use their direct deposit. They are vague with how much the transaction fees will cost you. The entire thing is scammy and very much unsolicited.

They stole over 700 dollars for me and basically left me stranded 300 miles from home. They can not be trusted with your money. They are crooks!!!

I am FURIOUS! I have NEVER had a Netspend card, only prepaid card I’ve had is Ace Elite and last week (08/07/2019) I purchased this card at Walmart and loaded $110 on the card. When I called to activate it I was told they could not open it and will send me a check for the amount. I was told the check was not sent out until 08/12/2019 and I won’t get it until possibly 08/21/2019! When I called back this morning I spoke to a supervisor and attempted to get a tracking number THEY DO NOT HAVE ONE! They still are refusing to give... read more

Horrible company! They took my money and later on they started asking for social security. Wow. I don’t give out my personal information but the tried to force me into giving it so I can activate the card that I purchased with cash. They said it was needed to avoid money laundering scenarios, indirectly associating me as a money launderer for $20! Really?i am a business owner and would NEVER ASUME THE WORST of my customers! I went to atm to get money out the atm had a error didn’t dispense zero but netspend deducted that amount from my account when speaking to them I had to file a dispute go threw loops and hurdles to still not get my money and there response is it could take up to 90 days this set me back on my bills I had done direct deposit for 10yrs with them I’ve since stopped all deposits and open up a account at a bank I can go in still waiting on my refund it’s bern a month

I have had my Control Mastercard for over six years and Netspend always "has my back" every time I file a dispute. Seeing money removed from one's account for any unauthorized reason is very frustrating and put him or her in a serious bind. However, Netspend works quickly to resolve the problem.
