This is the worst company. Do not use this card services. They are not a banking institution. My fience had a net spend card that used used on vacation in florida. We are from NY. We went to 3 stores and with in 3 hours 1,500 was gone out of his account. We contacted them and they said they were legimate charges and they wouldnt give us our money back. WEBSITE does not work, Phone/Customer Service does not work, unable to access accounts... What in the world is going on, were we hacked or something? When will I be able to look at my accounts? What will happen to my incoming direct deposits? HELP!
Don't ever bank with NetSpend all in all. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at all. It's a Scam!!!! They reimburse you for the money they take off your card when you do direct deposit, then blame you for it being taken off and leave your account with a negative balance of everything they took and gave back?? I've had my account for yrs with NetSpend & had problems off & on but I went to jail for 3 months on Feb 1, 2019. There was fraudulent activity while I was in jail so when I was released May 1, 2019 I contacted NetSpend to see what I needed to do to get access to my money & they told me to verify my identity by sending my a picture of my license and Social security card. On 4/23 I loaded $300. When I went to spend it online, all my charges were declined. I called and Harry said it went to fraud dept but they wouldn't tell me what was going on or what the charges were. I told him to just close the account if I cannot spend my own money. Activation issues with net spend card ...I was unable to get any help from customer service for over a month however I contacted the social address they keep listing on this site and they called me back and resolved the issue immediately.So for anyone seeking resolution this might be the way to go...
This sky light paycards are shitty...they take money out of account and the they say 5 to 10 bussiness day to be put back on card they took out them self...but yet they'll take 2 months to put it back return ur money to ur account...so say away from this they are worrier then blood sucker...

I first paid the $2.95 to load a card with $70, only to have the company deduct an additional $4.95 from the card before I even had a chance to activate it. To my knowledge, regardless of what fees are buried deep down in the lengthy terms of service, these prepaid companies CANNOT deduct additional fees prior to the card actually being activated.
