We had an appointment between 10-1pm. They did not show up until after 2pm & never called to say they'd be late. They were done before 2:30pm, very fast! Almost too fast... They were very kind and seemed knowledgeable about the work they completed. I would say they are trustworthy, however I did expect the service to take longer. There was no mess after they were done. Last winter we moved into a brand new house with a fireplace. I was ecstatic to give the fireplace a try since I had not previously lived in a home with one. This company came into my home to clean and inspect my chimney. The company send two guys one inspected my chimney. The guy who inspected said to fix my chimney was 700 dollars. He said all this stuff was wrong with my chimney but I know he was wrong. Also the other guy who cleaned my chimney spent less then 5 min cleaning my chimney. Next thing I knew they gave me estimate to fix my chimney. Horrible service....I wasn't happy at all. I payed 160 for 5 min of cleaning and ridiculous estimate. As of the cleaning we can't even gather our tools in 5 minutes. I rated the value in the neutral zone because it seemed like a lot of money for very little time and materials, but I have no comparison. Customer service is rated lower because no one ever answered the phones(always had to wait for a call back). And because the name on the paperwork was different than the one on-line, I wasn't even sure I was calling the right business when I needed to talk to them about needed follow-up.

I am only disappointed that this site allows me a maximum of 5 stars for my Mr Chimney review. There should be some kind of advanced placement category where we can go to 6 stars... Anyway, for the details of my great experience, my wife found Nature's Own Chimney Cleaning in 2013, when we needed a chimney inspection of the home we had purchased. He was prompt, clean and professional. He found a live wasp nest in the chimney flue that he killed and cleared. While he was here, I decided to also have him clean the dryer vent system, I am glad I did: the roof looked like a snow storm had hit. His pricing was very reasonable.
