We have owned a home in this area for about a year and a half and have never had the chimney inspected or cleaned. As it has gotten colder and we've started using it, we noticed smoke coming into the home so called these guys for an inspection and cleaning. They showed up on time and found several issues with our fireplace. The chimney cap was rusted and needed replacing and some repairs in the fireplace needed to be done. They were prompt to call, set an appointment and the tech was wonderful.
This was a cleaning service. Not a brick and store repair or check service. The cleaning was good, but the service person didn't know much about water sealants for the brick; and that was the main reason I hire them.

I was having problems with my prefabricated fireplace. Hard to light and doesn't stay on. Technician came, started the fire several times and charged me $107. I needed help to have the fireplace cleaned and find out why it wouldn't operate properly. They obviously weren't the right people for my fireplace.
