MyLife representatives will lie that you need to create an account and pay for removal of your profile/information. Keep pestering them to have them remove it. Sad but true. First, the information is somewhat true. They receive information from many sources, some outdated. You get what you pay for. But! buyer beware. They use financial traps. Currently my case is being reviewed by a fraud department, but they have allowed me to reason with Mylife in written form first, which I have submitted to the membership department and a time limit respond. An ex boyfriend of mine who was stalking me was allowed to put comments on my profile. Even worse was the fact that I had to pay money to remove the comments from my profile. I hope the money they make from this site causes them misery every day of their lives.
Repeated requests to remove my personal data from their site were met with sales pitches, this is cyber-extortion
Their reports are grossly inaccurate. Information posted regarding myself, my son and daughter contain "made up data". Non existing prior addresses, incorrect liens and attachments, false criminal information and incorrect personal information i.e. education, and background information. This company is about defamation and humiliation. It seems every year I ask them to take my profile down - then it goes right back up. And they choose horrifying photos that I didn't even know existed! They advertise "criminal records" without saying exactly what they were or when they were or what type they were. It's egregious. the company is looking for your personal information, that's all. They keep the card info on record once you purchase a trial subscription for $1 and then no way to remove the card. I made a purchase for $1 trial and cancelled the subscription the same day, as the website doesn't do what they promise to do. I emailed MyLife to remove my information on multiple occasions, and they have yet to do so. Its been 3 months and I can see my personal information on their website. I do not consent on having my personal information on their website.
They have a picture of my minor child on there website and info tied to people i dont know
