Twenty years ago, this European-style restaurant was filled with the warehouse workers from the area. Today, The Monte is still packed, but the clientèle has more white collars than blue. The copper bar is 50 feet long; it is worth the visit just to see it. The menu is big on American fare, with burgers, salads and deli-style sandwiches. We had brunch and the scrambled eggs were running we sent them back the waitress came back and said that The new age she bring were questionable we wondered why she bring them again runny

Abloutely a classic eating and drinking adventure. 44 years I've been enjoying their fabulous food and service. Always the very best. The one and only Monte Carlo.

Great food! Great atmosphere! Great service! Nostalgic! Longest continuously running establishment running under the same name and location in Minneapolis! Crave it!
Both the food and the service were exceptional. We had a large party (30) there and everyone was impressed.
A north loop classic. Visually stunning back-bar, and the Charlie’s steak sandwich & potato salad never, ever, disappoints.
Wonderful atmosphere, great service, food and drinks excellent. Can’t till we’re back in town and can return. Lots of history within those walls.
