Twenty years ago, this European-style restaurant was filled with the warehouse workers from the area. Today, The Monte is still packed, but the clientèle has more white collars than blue. The copper bar is 50 feet long; it is worth the visit just to see it. The menu is big on American fare, with burgers, salads and deli-style sandwiches. I've never been here since I'm from Arkansas and have never been to Minnesota, but a guy stole my debit card information and came here and spent $93.03 here on Thursday or Friday of this past week so I'm assuming he at least had a good time. 5 stars for this restaurant.
