Recently, I got screwed on a front brake pads and rotors job done by KEN TOWERY by big lots in Danville, store #1215. Mark P****** was the guy I dealt with each time. He quoted me $782 for front pads, which ended up being the bottom of the line semi-metallic versions, and rotors. When I mentioned I used to work at ******* ****, he IMMEDIATELY dropped price to $499, which is still way to high, if I paid it reluctantly. I had brand new rims and tires mounted and balanced at Mr.Tire on Westerville Rd. in Columbus/Westerville, OH. on 6/14/21. My appt. was at 8:30 a.m. I was informed by the manager Kirk that the install would take 1.5 hours and unlike other installation shops that he doesn't scratch customers rims. Four hours later after frustration set in I did what they wanted me to do. I left before checking their work. SHAME ON ME! Ulysses service at 8303 Clairemont Mesa Blvd. SD, CA is horrible and discriminatory against Blacks and Transgenders. I was told to come in and I would be the last customer of the day. Got lost, so about 10 min. later, I called back. Ulysses answered the phone again. I told him I been trying to find them and confirmed the address. 2 min. passed and I arrived. Alignment ended with a broken lower ball joint. Truck drove straight, no swerving just got tires. Left the shop and had to go right back because it pulled to the curve bad bad. Tech said my calipers didn't match. They did the 2nd alignment and it was worse. Went straight to the mechanic and I had to leave my truck. My parents went to Tire Warehouse in Exeter NH for a slow leak in a tire. They speak with a thick accent and are an older couple. The technician at first tells me them he found nothing after checking. They asked again, what could be causing the slow leak he went to check again, quickly returning stating that they found a nail in the tire. This place should be avoided. The so called Manager refused to give me my Inspection Sticker because the other Manager Anthony that inspected my car was in the Hospital. Anthony inspected my car a few weeks ago and he told me to get the 2 items that didn't pass. 1. I requested my daughters car to be done by 2 pm for tires, alignment and oil change was told no problem. Her car was not done in time and was told they didn't have any staff but never received a call or credit for the problems car was done after 4 pm. 2. charged for shop fees, they told be the paper they place on the floor and solvents, rags, profit & ETC. never told of this?
