Horrible period!!! Please at least protect your staff!!
Well I can certainly tell that Mission Hospital is now owned by a “for profit” company. I just received a bill for $126,000 for my one night stay back in February when I had my shoulder replacement surgery. And that doesn’t include the surgeon or the anesthesiologist bill. The nurses were understaffed and overworked. I had to wait nearly an hour for pain meds after my nerve block wore off. 24 hours after surgery, they rushed to get me out of the room while my incision was still draining heavily. HCA needs to pay their staff more during this COVID crisis. Grocery stores are paying their staff more then most of your employees right now. EVERYONE from the grocer to your medical workers who are working in this dangerous time should be compensated. You claim to have cut visitation to your offices and hospitals to protect your staff but you are paying them like they are worth nothing. Step up and pay them! Back pay them for the past 2 weeks!

I am at Mission Hospital right now recovering from a hip replacement surgery. The Doctors, Nurses along with all the staff are top.notch, super friendly and helpful. You cant find a better place to heal in my opinion.
