We arrived at Mission Hospital North Tower at 7:30 this morning. It is now 5:45 and we are still here!!!! My 80 year old Dad had hernia surgery that lasted 55 minutes and we are still waiting to be discharged. This is not the Mission Hospital it used to be. Very frustrated and tired!
my mother is there now from having a stroke and has been completely neglected they won't help her to bath room or clean her properly I've seen better from the worst nursing homes there is they can't control her bp cause they don't want to help her if you can't do the job quit this is absolutely ridiculous now bottom line every time we call the nurses hang up on us and ignore her page button
RecommendedUnfortunately, I had to be transported to the ER while on vacation in Asheville, but I couldn’t have asked for better care from the ER staff here. Dr. Harrison was very thorough and responsive. Anna, my nurse, was absolutely incredible. The staff at this hospital were genuine, responsive, and caring. I haven’t had many ER experiences, thankfully, but this one exceeded expectations. I work as a registered nurse myself and I couldn’t have handpicked a better team to care for me. Thanks, Mission Health!
My husband had surgery yesterday. No one came out or called after his surgery to let me know how it went. The last contact was at noon when they called me to let me know that he was still in surgery and it would be a little longer. When I couldn't get any updates by 4, I went to recovery. When I asked a nurse to give me an update, she said she was busy with a patient and left me in the recovery room waiting room. They do not get to the bottom of the problem. My mom has been here in the ER from 5:30 am to 9:30 pm. Still no answers. They went to ask the doctor a question 2 hours ago and still don’t have an answer. What a joke!
Please open more parking on the ER parking deck. There was about 10 cars circling and only the first two levels are currently open. It is chained off for the rest of the floors.
The recovery team was great. The rest not so much. :( seems to be a great lack of communication.
I would like to say a big THANK YOU to the staff on 8th north at St Joseph campus in Asheville. I could not have asked or hand picked a better group of nurses ,cnas, PA 's, MD's to care for my mother. You all are amazing. I will never forget your kindness,compassion. 😘😘😘
Dr morgan at mission neuro has been an amazing provider. I have been dealing with healthissues for over a year. I went to wake forest neuro before finding her and i can honestly say she has done more for me than wake forest. She was able to identify things that wake forest failed to do. Their is no reason for asheville folks to go to wake forest when you can just see dr morgan. Highly recommend seeing dr morgan.
