Dr Beer and staff are always great. Had to get an X-ray and waited for 20 minutes and the staff there did not seem to move with any urgency although the girl who did my 4 X-rays was very pleasant.

Yesterday, our grandson Colin was at school showing a friend how to swing a golf club. Colin was accidently hit with the golf club next to his eye, shattering the nose bone and eye socket. All our family here was beside him for the 12 hours that followed! In surgery, the doctor removed crushed bone that was pushed into his sinus cavity, put in three titanium plates, sewed him up, all in all, 2.5 hrs surgery...he is doing so much better! Even tho I worked for ten years at St. Lukes many moons ago, I gotta tell you there is a difference when you go to Mercy. I've had several surgeries at Mercy & radiation, I couldn't have been happier w/ the Mercy touch. There Mercy Home Health Care is also up & beyond.....we are so fortunate to have such an excellent hospital in CR.
