Terrible company to do business with. I cancelled my service due to constant rate increases. I cancelled 1 week before the next payment was due. They billed me for an additional month's service plus other charges and threatened to turn my account into a collection agency if not paid. BEWARE do not use."

I have been a customer of Republic Services for both home and business for the last 10 years. I own a medical business where I pay a flat fee monthly for pickup of hazardous materials every 4 weeks. They missed a pickup on 5/31. We noticed our bins getting full and overflowing; however, we have been so busy that nobody had time to call. I sold my house and it closed on Jan 19. When they sent the demand to title they stated that I owed $51.52 which was incorrect, I had a credit of $57.55 on my account. Republic Services stated that I would receive a refund of $109.07. In April I called as my account showed I had a credit of $133.59. I was told that a check hadn't been sent, was given a confirmation number and still 5 months later I am still waiting. They are ******** !! They don't have any respect for the cans they supply and the ones we purchase ourselves is ridiculous. I've had one of the cans i purchased myself smashed and last week they took my other can. I reported it and was told I'd have a new one this week and its Friday and still no can.My pick up day is Wednesday and the last several weeks they haven't even came on that day !! I ordered new service with two trash receptacles. A week after moving in to my new home, I still didn't have my trash receptacles. I called and alerted customer services that I didn't receive the bins. I was told they would be dropped off within the next couple of days. A few days past, and I called a second time. I was told by the customer service rep that the first person was new and didn't "do it right" with respect to getting my trash bins. My trash was supposed to be picked up Monday. Republic failed to pick it up. *** called every day complaining and have been repeatedly told they are coming the next day. Its Thursday and the trash is still sitting out there and piling up.

Republic Services Seven weeks ago to this day, June 15th, 2021, we inquired about a refund on an overpaid a ****. We overpaid it by $300.NEVER DO THIS WITH THIS **** AWFUL COMPANY!!!! This company misses trash pick up ALL THE ****!!! It will sit in my can at the end of my drive for 2-3 days at least most weeks before it is picked up. We live in a rural area and don't have many options for trash pick u., Until recently, I have tried to be patient and just let it be, at least they eventually pick it up. Horribly ran company. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I canceled my account with them and have a zero balance, because of poor service. I have been waiting for weeks for them to pick up their cans in front of my house. Every time I call about this, they assure me they are scheduled to pick them up. Most of the agents have been extremely rude, but to be fair, not all. I will never ever recommend this business.
