When rep learned I was talking to other service providers, she told me about a free month but not about $47 delivery fee *** container. After I saw this on my first month's ****, I decided to cancel then there was a $30 pick up fee! "

Horrible company to deal with. I am a contractor and their billing is a total mess and they literally make things up as they go. They send bills with nothing to back up their billing. They are a nightmare so choose ANY other company to provide you a dumpster! I would give them 0 stars if it was an option.

I have had Republic Services for my roadside trash collection for the past 20 years. However, for the past few years, every year I have to call and renegotiate my fee. The last couple years, I have been told that my increase in rate is based on the fact that Republic Service has less roadside pickup in my direct area than other areas and that is why I am paying more. Yeah I have a complaint about this company they have to be one of the worst companies we’ve dealt with here in a while we set up for our couches to be picked up and paid them for it and they still never picked them up had to go to them to complain get our money back and now they’re not picking up or regular trash this is the worst trash company going don’t waste your money with Republic trash services !!!!

After increasing our rates for years, we did not realize our contract automatically renewed and have now been stuck with another 3 year contract through them. After doing the math and realizing it would be cheaper for us to buy out of our contract AND pay for the removal of the dumpster it would still be cheaper than paying Republics rate increases. We've used Republic Services for about 2 years in San Angelo where they were the only option and continued with them when we moved outside city limits and had a choice. Over the years, the prices increased very minor.. 5-10 bucks a year. This last billing cycle, we had about a 30% jump. No warning. No explanation. My real issue, is that when we polled our neighbors there was VERY inconsistent billing. Some paid 25-40 bucks a month while others, like us where up to about 105 a month. We canceled with republic because they take a "boil the frog" approach to how they bill. In other words, they will gradually increase your bill month to month in the hopes you don't notice. Before we switched to a different service, we were paying close a 50% premium over their competition. So we canceled service with republic waste services and had a full written record of cancellation. I removed my credit card from their payment page and they actually billed us the next week even though our card was removed from their bill... read more

Horrible. They haven't picked up the trash in weeks. It is overflowing, smells and has a ton of flies. When they do finally show up they leave the trash around the dumpster. Do NOT use them.
