Horrible company our Trash is NEVER EVER PICKED UP ON TIME , I requested a new trash can two weeks later and still nothing multiple calls just to get nowhere!!! Wish the township would reconsider having them as the “waste company” because it is a WASTE of money!!!!!!

Highly recommend any other trash service company, it has been a nightmare cancelling services since March 31, it is now May 26. Every year Republic Services increased our trash bill by $20 without notice. I’ve had to reschedule a can removal three different times because somehow they couldn’t find our address to remove the trash can. A local representative reached out explaining his guys messed up and claimed the removal fee would be waived because of all the mix up. They won't answer their phones. It doesn't matter if it's their corporate number in Phoenix or Las Vegas. I'm a customer in Missouri that can't get anyone to answer the calls! No ability to reach anyone or get a callback. They told us that they were going to pick up our couch on Memorial Day. Despite the fact I reminded them three times that it was a holiday, they said they would still be picking up this bulk item. They are incompetent and don't care if they waste your time.

I have had nothing but troubles with them since I have had them. As of recent in May of 2021. I got charged an extra 45 dollars for a late fee. Why? I'm on auto pay i have payment receipts showing up to date. I emailed them and asked how come I'm late see if it something of a miss. After showing her screen shots and stuff of my payments she said there was an extra increase in services and we weren't able to draw it out on March 15th. Worst experience ever. Their price went up over $20 a month. I called to ask why. They had me sign a new proposal to lower my price so it was closer to where I was before. I get my new bill and it's still the over $20 higher. I call again and they have me sign another new proposal. I get a new bill with the still higher price and late fees and I'm getting collection calls now. I call to complain again. Nothing gets resolved the next month. I call to cancel their services. They try to charge me $130 to remove my container! A ... read more

Also, they said I had signed a contract that I would pay this removal fee... so I said send me a copy of that because I knew I had NEVER signed anything and then they couldn't find it of course... They are a total scam.

I have been a customer for over 15 years, I have basic trash service. I was paying over $800 a year,!! I called to see why I was paying so much, and to cancel my service and they said they could see what promotions they had, they said for new customers the yearly price would be around $350 for the whole year, I was paying $219 for 3 months!! Republic Trash is the WORST. Hi Neighbors, I thought our issues with Republic was over. They were increasing the price of service every few months until we threatened to cancel service. Then they magically started charging us the price we were originally quoted. Well now we have to cancel service as we are moving out of the country. They informed us we have to pay $30 per container or we could drop off the containers for no fee. We have the greatest garbage guy but customer service and support is nonexistent. Can't believe they hung up on me when I called to inform them I was "missed". She accused me of not having it out in time. Then she told me they picked it up that morning. When I took a picture of the trash can still full she hung up on me. Unbelievable. Gonna tip the driver and cancel my service.
