If I could give zero, I would. Besides the fact that the pick up was patchy at best, we cancelled our account when we left Indy. I received a collection notice and called. I was told not to worry about the balance because the account had been closed. Lo and behold, the collection e-mail arrives AGAIN 2 weeks later. I call and the unsympathetic man states that I have to pay for 2 months of service that I had CANCELLED. Plus they had added a late fee to make it even better. I want to leave no stars... They don't deserve even one star, that's how bas they are. They have picked up our trash once in the past 6 weeks. The only reason they picked up that once was because I reported them to the county. I call them multiple times a week but their call center customer service has no ability to do anything to help and they refuse to put me in contact with someone that can help.

HORRIBLE BILLING SERVICES!!!! Plan to call quarterly to try to get billed items removed from your invoice that aren't on your contract. Billing CAN'T see the contracts!! Seriously??? Absolutely terrible billing services. If Republic's pick-up services and monthly costs (albeit, billed incorrectly) weren't so good, we'd leave their company.

They picked up my trash today, but not all of it strangely enough. About half was taken, 45% still in the garbage can, and 5% on the sidewalk and road. Terrible service.

One star is WAY to many for this outfit! I have used them for 7 years and service wasn't awful but during the bad weather they always want to skip pick-up and I have a dumpster picked up twice a month so skipping a pick-up isn't an option. The constant price increases was the last straw (doubling the cost with all the "fees", and when you call them on it (if you can get them to answer the phone) they give you every excuse in the book, when you tell them to cancel service they refuse! horrible costumer svce, reporting a missed bulk pick up,no answer on phone, no chat, just loop to loop, and the looping keeps on going, very frustrating, cant really report a missing pick up, but done on purpose, and we have NO other choice, what do you mean "star rating" it is "0"
Very inconsistent pickup and II informed them to cancel recycle pick up due to missed up ups off and on over a year. I was told I would be charged for the pickup regardless of the missed pickups. Very bad business behavior.

If I could give zero stars I would. They closed my account without me requesting it be closed. (My account was paid in full). They took my trash and recycling can. When I called, they were apologetic and assured me they put an expedited request to get me cans back to me. They said it would take 7 days AT THE MOST. Day 8, I still don't have the cans back. Failed to explain their charges for dumpster delivery and pick up at the outset and said the services were a one price service and then we received bills for three times the original statement. Additions to bills which are not explained up front. Hundreds of dollars in charges for Rate Adjustments, fuel recovery fees, and administrative fees. When asked for explanation, about the total service none could be given.
