They are an awful service and bad customer service. We used their services for years and half of the time they did not empty the dumpster as scheduled but definately charged for the service. Additionally, their prices kept going up without notice. After my mother passed, I called them and asked them to pick up the dumpster and I paid the ramaining charges. They deserve -18 stars ! Always miss pickups. Bills always go up. I cancelled service and now I have to pay $30 to have them pick up their dumpster !!! Unbelievable !!! Rude customer service !!

I called the company today to see why my bill increased the first lady I talked to explained it a little and said she would transfer me over to someone else to see if it was any available promotions in my area. When the lady answered the phone you can tell she just woke up and had an attitude. I asked her was there any promotions in my area available, She was like so you're trying to get your bill lowered? I would prefer to leave no star rating. Republic Services is the absolute epitome of a useless company. No one can provide quotes for residential dumpsters, sales does not call back. I have spent over 8 hours on the phone with multiple calls and transferring back and forth to people who cannot help. I can never speak to a supervisor. Since mid March we have been trying to set up a residential dumpster and can't even get a quote from anyone. The frustration of only having this company to deal with grows with every contact. My husband and I were customers of WM for many years and we watched our bill climb to $250 for one can for 3 months. When we finally had enough we cancelled only to be told we had to pay until the end of the month. Then we had to pay for them to pick up the can. Finally we thought we were done and should be getting a refund. After a month I called and was told I had to make a request, like I would want them to keep my money! I was told they would process my request and it would take 6 to 8 weeks. Poor business practices.

The company's inability to manage accounts with competence is disheartening. The bill for the dumpster at our church tripled in about a year from the quote we were given. We were billed for repeatedly billed for extra services ("container refresh") that were not part of our agreement and I had asked multiple times to be removed. Over six weeks of no trash pickup. Many phone calls to customer service and supervisors. Almost everyone I talked to was really nice. But nice didn’t get my trash picked up. Now they tell me it’s six weeks for a refund. My advice is, “do not use this company”

Just got my bill and went up a lot. They never give you a notice that there will be a rate increase. I called to cancel my garbage after 10 years of rate increases. It took an hour and a half to get through. Then they tell me that I have to pay and can’t drop off my garbage can at a local Republic service office that can take the garbage can, but they aren’t at this time. I never got an noticed that a pick up of the there garbage can would cost money or a rate increase. This company is a rip off! Very disappointed!
