They charged me 60 dollars to remove my bins after I canceled service. I was not told about this fee when I signed up, and had not agreed to it at any point. This is not right. And they can set that price at whatever they choose. I was not given the option to return the bins on my own either. They also increased the charges for services incrementally over time, so that you don't notice if you're on autopsy. I tried to cancel my service on Friday, January 29, after yet another ridiculous increase in their bill. Once again, they tried to negotiate me down to a lower price and told me I could think about it since my first garbage collection in the new billing cycle was not until the following Friday. This is the second time I've had republic service employees lie to me. My republic issued trash container was damaged by the republic service truck when they came to pick up the trash, the lid was distorted and damaged. I called republic and told me that they would being a replacement container on the next pickup day. Prices are double the other trash co in our area (midwest). Republic services charges Per Item for a bulk pickup, the other co gives 1 free bulk pickup per year & has lower monthly rates. We've cancelled our service, our bill is paid in full for the next week, but we are not guaranteed a pick up on our scheduled day, HOWEVER, we Will most definitely be charged $30 for the removal of their trash can. RIP OFF. And they didn't even pick up the trash consistently every week. Horrible service. Would not recommend them.

They don't always send you your bill, then they send you one with late charge, I called them and told them I did not receive and try to pay on phone but they don remove late fee. it has happened more than 3 times my neighbor has had same issue, i think its a scam to get more money as I do receive all other bills

We have multiple business accounts with republic, unfortunately we signed contracts with them before we knew how terrible they were. We sold one of our businesses 6+ months ago, and contacted republic at that time to let them know, and to have our account closed out. Here we are, over 6 months later, now receiving collection notices. We have over 15 documented calls put in to the company, with broken promises to " escalate the situation ". I was a long-time customer (since 1997). For the first time, this cycle, I see that I was charged for picking up additional bags and bins. They just billed for these now, without warning, and when I asked, they said that the former pick-up of anything other than the blue bin was "courtesy". OK. Also they raised my bill without notification. This is not acceptable, in my opinion.

We use ***Trash Removal/Republic Services located in Fairfax, Virginia (**** **** ** ****). This company has been providing us the most unreliable services. It collects trash and recycling only once a week, and even then it frequently misses. It never lets us know of issues, delays or alternate days. However, when it comes to billing, there is no consideration of missed services

Worst service ever. Every other week have to call and complain green waste not picked up. No response back from company. The frustration is palpable. We get action when we call Arizona, company headquarter but then same old crap. This is how a monopoly can get away with the worst service. Would cancel and change in a minute if there was an option.
