Republic Services doubled our bill wtthout any notice. We cancelled our service in a timely fashion and they want to be paid for work that they didn't do. In addition, fuel is very cheap right now and they doubled the cost of their fuel surcharge. They should have given us a credit not an addiitonal charge for fuel. Their garbage collectors are very professional and do a great job. It is the corporate office that is unprofessional and dishonest. I would avoid this company.

Add me to the long list of dissatisfied customers of this company! I was looking for a trash service for my elderly mother. We decided to try out Republic (I should have read reviews first). For a few months, everything was fine, trash was picked up in a timely manner etc. Then this past summer, I would go to her home, put out her trash on the day it was to be picked up and she would call me later to say no one came by. I have spent so much time calling in and escalating missed pickups. I had recycling out 3 weeks in a row and they didn’t pick it up. Spent long amount of time on 2 phone calls for them to actually get it together and come pick it up last week. THEN, the regular trash truck didn’t pick up the same week! I have a lot of 4K video of Republic Services trucks throwing trash all over the highway and onto vehicles driving behind him. This was a Republic Services truck that hauls large dumpsters and was traveling on Interstate Highway 37 in a 75 MPH zone; which makes it that much worse. First of all, I was highly impressed by the service from this company at my previous address. Since moving in September to our new address, we have had multiple problems... to begin with, it took 2 weeks to get our trash can delivered... there was supposed to be 2 cans delivered like I had requested. We had to wait another 2 weeks for our second can to be delivered which required 1 or 2 calls to resolve. We have had missed pick ups 2 times for sure... possibly 3. Republic Services NEVER gives the same answers when asked! I just found out today that I apparently have money owed to collections from 2018. Its January 5 2021 and I'm just now hearing about it! We have made numerous payments since 2018 for our trash services yet nobody has notified us about collections. I asked why I have not received anything in regards to this and she said we signed up for electronic notifications yet IM STARING AT A CURRENT PAPER BILL YOU JUST MAILED TO ME! I called to request a rental of a 10 or 15 yard dumpster in August 2020. Only available was a big 20 yard dumpster with a big deposit amount $434.38 paid in advance (08/27/2020) Upon the ordering of this, Araceli S****** was notified that I would not exceed two weeks as the unit was rent free for 14 days. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They are an absolutely HORRIBLE company. My trash is NEVER picked up on time. The customer service just tells you what you want to hear without any action behind it. If you have another trash pick up in your area, DO NOT use Republic Services. HORRIBLE COMPANY!

I couldn't put a zero for a review. One problem after another with this company. This week's pickup was the straw that broke the camel's back. Some of my trash was picked up, but the rest was left lying on the ground after Republic ripped open a trash bag (presumably by accident). They didn't bother to pick up the trash left lying on the ground, thus making my property an eyesore and making me have to go clean up what they created.
