Republic Services is the absolute worst company I have ever had to work with. They pass on problems to the next person who never has results. Each employee takes no responsibility for the errors made or missed pickup. As a business, we MUST use them per the Mesquite contract with them. It's ridiculous! If you have options for a different waste company, please do NOT use Republic Services! They are the worst!

I am just starting out with this company and it has been a whole fiasco. I purchased a home, requested to start service, and received a letter in MY name. It said I could set up online service for bill pay. I called to get the information needed aka the account number so I could create the online account. ZERO STARS THIS COMPANY IS A NIGHTMARE, THEY ARE MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHERS. IF YOU CANCEL ON THE FIRSTTOF THE MONTH THEY WILL NOT STOP COMING UNTIL THAT LAST PICKUP OF THE MONTH PLUS THEY CHARGE 45.00 TO RETREIVE YOUR DUMPSTER EVEN WHEN YOU LIVE FIVE BLOCKS AWAY. Total nightmare experience. Destroyed containers that were replaced with incorrect new containers. Missed services. TERRIBLE customer service. CONSTANTLY INFLATING PRICES. One of their trucks broke my mailbox on pickup!!! On top of it all, they charge you to pick up their container on cancellation. A slap in the face on top of a total shit experience. Switching to another service that is half the price for the same service. Avoid at all costs.

Our dumpster was supposed to be picked up 2/1/21. Due to weather Republic Services did not pick up which I understand. Our dumpster is overflowing, I called this morning 2/2/21 to make sure it would be picked up. I was reassured when I called at 8:20am this morning they would be here. What a horrible company. Despite promise after promise after promise the company has only picked up my garbage twice in the last six weeks. Each and every time I call to inquire why it was missed I was met with surprise and the promise someone would come by and empty my garbage bin. Those promises were never once kept. Not even once. I originally signed up for both household refuse collection and recycling collection. I cancelled the latter after four consecutive fails. I have had Republic service for 4 or 5 years. They never gave me a regular garbage can, so I had to buy own 32 gallon can. I also have their yard waste and Recycle cans they provided. Yesterday a diver left a notice on my own 32 gallon can! This is not my fault, because they never provided me one! Mine is regulation size and I don't generate enough garbage here for weekly pick up, so it only goes out once a month! After waiting 2 weeks and making multiple calls, I never got a container or got my trash picked up. They charged me $50 up front and another $30 they said I still owed from 2014, which is a lie.
