i was charged for 3 months of service after cancelling and have STILL NOT RECEIVED A REFUND!!!! They withdrew $111.54 and will not cut the damn check back. I have to call every 4 weeks to check on an escalated request to accounting. The company has a 1 star rating, horrible reviews and practices, and now I know why. This is my money. If I have to file small claims I will, because this is unacceptable behavior for a company. I was a customer for 9 years. I always paid my bill. When they doubled the service cost I left. This company is a joke! They are the only company that provides garbage service in my area. They skip weeks of pick ups at a time, I call and they say they will make a pick up the next day and it never comes. My neighbor across the street gets picked up but they conveniently leave mine. I am so tired of calling daily just to be lied to. I pay over $50 a month for two days of pick up and may get 2 pick ups a month. I have been a customer of this company for more than 7 years. Lack of consistency is putting it lightly. I have called and emailed about the issues we have had and I could list every issue I have had over the last 7 years but we would be here all day. Just over the last few years we had issues with bulk pick up. Which I am told is a free service.. which means the cost is built into the cost of our regular service. they do not pick up trash we they are suppose to, you can hardly get anyone that will tell you the truth, have not got service in over 2 weeks paid for the year i guess i have learned my lesson....DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BUSINESS THE ARE THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!

I was a loyal customer of Allied waste which then became Republic Services for over 20 years! My agreement with Allied was to pay a full year in advance to save them monthly billing charges and in return I was not to be charged for anything other than my monthly trash service (no misc extra charges etc). When Republic took over-they continued the yearly billing and never sent me anything about a change in terms of service. We had moved and had $35 collection fee sent out on our account. We were completely unaware. When we had called to cancel the company and make them aware that we will no longer be needing trash service (WHICH HAD BEEN AWFUL!) we were told that they would pick up the trash can in June. I received a collection notice a few weeks ago! I attempted to call 4 times. Each time on hold 45 minutes plus. I don't often post my issues publicly, but I have had a major problem with Republic Services (not the drivers, the company). I feel this company is poorly run, each time I talk to someone there they contradict what the previous person told me. In May I called to request a second trash can. It was going to be $30 for the year. I gave the phone rep my information to set up the account and my CC info for billing. I was told my can would arrive on the next pick up day. No can showed up. Poor service and Poor execution: The Company is awful at pick ups and doing what they say they'll do! Republic services changed our weekly pickup from Fridays to Wednesday. Once they did this, they never came to pick up. NEVER! When called two days later, they handled by putting in the missed-pickup, promising someone would be out the next business day- No one showed up, again. After 4 weeks of trying my best to get a quote for my 7 homes HOA, I was told by a gentleman named James Evans that I must submit my request on official letterhead from the association, which we obviously don’t have. Then requested our Tax Id after talking to his supervisor “Carsen ********”. After several emails, I was told “Sorry but we cannot quote the work”. I found this to be a ridicules denial of service and we will be more than happy to switch to a different provider and provide all communication in Email.
