This company is awful!!! They say they will charge you a certain amount and then the following bill is for more money, then the following bill is for even more money. Call and complain and they lower the bill for one bill and then back to the same game increases in all of the next bills. Talk to neighbors and they all pay a different rate, some as much as half of what I paid. Cancelled service and they charge to pickup their own container!! I would never recommend this company nor use them again no matter where I live!!!

Pathetic customer service. A lot of lip service by well-meaning but uninformed staff backed up by management that hides behind policy and a passive "don't really care about your problem" attitude. Called to schedule a dumpster for cleanup, was told it'd be here Tuesday 8/25. Called at 10:30 to see where it was, was told they'd check and call back. Absolutely the worse service we've ever had. They would drive by 3 weeks in a row at our house and wave as they drove by without picking up the trash. Call and be nice and they say, they'll send them back same day or next day and they never showed up. Three times in one year they did this to us with no discount for the no pick ups. We fired them after that third time.

We used the 2 years prior for our trash services. Received an email 3/18/04, we had a credit. Contacted and they said they would send it out via mail. We never received the check. Called them in June and that they sent the check out and I advice we never received it and they said they would reseach/stop payment and resend check out. showed up a day early for pick up of 40 yard container. i asked driver to come back at the scheduled date. driver marked the pickup as complete. called customer service. they tell me the pick up was never scheduled. i request same day urgent service. they email me instead of calling me to confirm. 4 days later and 3 service reps bouncing me around for a total of about 10 emails and 6 phone calls, i call and request same day service again. i still havent gotten a phone call to confirm or even an apology or even an acknowledgm... read more

Prices doubled without notice in a year. Lots of hidden fees. They then charged me 2 weeks after canceling and added a $30 "removal" fee.

Republic Services in Michigan is a racket! I signed up via phone and was quoted 208$ for a full year in advance for dumpster and service. Got the dumpster and got a separate bill for delivery which was not stated at time of purchase. But I paid it anyway. Now they are charging me a monthly fee on top of the 200 plus dollars we paid for a full year in advance service! I didn't pay it. The bill was last month, they came today and removed my bin! This company was charging my mother $283.26 every three months for residential trash pickup. I called them in April to cancel services. After a discussion, the service rep said they could put her on the annual plan for the same $283.26 and she would not owe any money until February 2021.
