Same as all the other reviews. Incompetent,uncaring liars.Don't even know the meaning of service. How do they stay in business? How many times can they get away with the same complaint over an over again.Don't use at any price. Service isn't worth it.Bad to have problems worse not to take care of

for the 2nd time in 3 weeks, the 3rd time in 4 weeks and the 4th time since april 15 when they were supposed to start yard waste pick up, but didn't, they missed picking up my yard waste. this time for sure, i noticed that they missed the entire 3 block neighbor hood. I called and they said they MIGHT get someone out today, otherwise it wouldnt be until TUESDAY sonce they are closed on saturday and monday due to the holiday. Negative 456 stars. By far the worst trash service I have ever received. Let me re-phrase that. I never received service from them. They dropped the can off in April. It's now May and the can has been sitting next to the road since the first week. Every week I call to report a missed pickup and get the same response, "We're sorry. Someone will be there to pick up the can this week." That someone never came. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration by not doing business with this poor excuse for a trash company.

Terrible Customer Service. They took over the original company we had (not our choice). They kept sending us a bill for prior services (which we paid to the other company) and told them we aren't paying these past due notices - we told them since they took over they need to contact the other company. Well a few months go by we pay our normal bill to them (Republic) and get another past due notice. We call and the lady on the phone says it is what it is, NOT ACCEPTABLE! I don't know why this company chooses to seat a person at customer service who angrily responds to a request. Attitude the whole phone call. Wife calmly explained when the service is needed but customer rep "Rhonda" decided it was too much of an inconvenience for her to help us out. Regardless, we got our service date but prob wont recommend this company to anyone.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I have had their residential trash and recycling service for several years in Kalamazoo, Michigan. When I go away for a month in the winter, it's always a billing hassle--I try to pay in advance and they say I can't pay in advance, they will put a credit on my account and I won't get a late charge but two years in a row I've gotten a late charge and have to deal with that. I finally gave up and cancelled my account. They charge an exorbitant fee to cancel. I wanted to return my two co... read more

Awful company to deal with. Constantly missing pick up days. I called to cancel our trash service at our vacation rental in Battle Creek, MI. Due to Covid-19 we can not operate. I was told it would cost $60 to pick up my 2 cans. I asked where I could drop them off to avoid the fee. I was told that, due to Covid-19, drop off wasn't an option. The rep offered to reduce the fee by 50%. This was still unacceptable to me. How do they get away with this? $60 to cancel service when you have no contract. I’ve been with Republic for 2 years said to say I am leavzing due to their horrible customer service. I ordered an add on service of recycling and yard waste removal late in April 2020. I was given a delivery date for service of May 4, 2020. I didn’t receive my bins on May 4th and called the same day, they told me there was a mix up and the delivery would be May 10th. THIS IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY! WARNING! DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING THIS COMPANY! THEY HAVE 3 YR CONTRACT THAT AUTOMATICALLY ROLLS OVER WITHOUT NOTIFICATION. MY MONTHLY RATE WENT FROM $75.00 TO $193.68 WITH NO NOTIFICATION. MY ACCOUNT REP DOES NOT RETURN CALLS, THIS IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY. BUYER BEWARE. THEY DO NOT OPERATE WITH ANY INTEGRITY WHATSOEVER, DO NOT USE REPUBLIC SERVICES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
