To whom it may concern, As a 20 year customer of Republic Services I have just learned that Republic Services is a company that takes advantage of trusting loyal customers. After receiving my last bill for $232.28 which went up over $31, I started to ask questions. One neighbors bill is $99 and another’s is $75 and if I was a new customer my bill would have started at $53. My total fuel/environmental recovery fee was $57.55. I was a customer for couple years.Paid my bill and they took my cans couple weeks ago over a 35 dollar charge that was put on over a year ago!Bill keeps going up!Now they want me to pay to have services restored at 50 per can and then a 50 environmental fee on top of the 35 dollar late fee!In October called in talk to customer service and gentleman said whole bill was just over 80.35 paid it!In January paid the 79.97 online with my account number!Still there own website with my account number paid full bill!They took both ca... read more

Don't waste your time or money on Republic Waste Services, especially if you live near me (in Martin County). They don't offer bulk pick-up, they don't offer extra pick-up, and they don't offer recycling in this area. BUT they'll tell you they do just to get you to give them money and the second you ask for that service, they'll change their tune and ask if you want a $300 container rental.

Zero star review (they need one star though). Missed pickups, company then charges you to have a truck come and do what it was supposed to do the first time. Cancelled service in January, and was told it would take about a week for the system to update and a new invoice to be assigned. A few days later, I received a new invoice, but it was for future services (the ones I had already cancelled). I am currently being charged twice for the same account when I only have one dumpster on site. I have called every day for 2 weeks to get this resolved. I keep being told they can not cancel the other account until a sales rep calls me back and I have not heard from the sales rep even though I have called every day to get the issue resolved. I need someone from Republic Service to give me a call so we can get this issue resolved.

This company is an absolute joke. When canceling service the think they are doing you a favor by charging you for the rest of the month. Plus they charge you a 30.00 cart pick up fee. Not disclosed on the back of the bill. Tried to resolve these issues with customer service ( so they call call it). I will never do business with them again. I hope no one else does either. I give the Republic Services Inc NO STARS. Apparently, I had to provide a star-rating for this business anyways. This organization is HORRIBLE!!! My advise: NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!. They haven't done their job (picking up our trash) for over a month (services were supposed to be 2 times a month) and they charged us like they did. Excessive charges, deceptive pricing, poor service. Champaign, IL The Republic Services web site says they charge $28 per month to pick up trash and recycling once a week. Our cost was actually $268.99 per quarter, after additional charges were added to the bill. This is a monthly total of $89.66. They also charge $60 to deliver the totes when service is initiated! I have been very outraged by the increasing prices and the decreasing service provided. When I called to discontinue services, I was told that I had called to cancel at the wrong time in their billing cycle. They have harassed me about paying an additional 91.03 dollars for services not provided. I have been fortunate to find a much better provider at much less cost.
