charge you to set up ok no problem. charge you to pick up ok. then find out city will do for $50.00 you are paying $179.00 they cut the bill when confronted with price difference and times of pick up. then charge $199.10 to remove their dumpster. that is pure thievery. never been so upset with a businesses practices. this was not told to me nor discussed when I cancelled my service. 5 months latter in collections. NO STATEMENT EVER SENT NO PHONE CALLS NO EMAILS BECAUSE THEY KNOW ITS WRONG...…..

Service is poor and not dependable. I have had problems with them picking up my trash. Since starting service with them about a year and a half ago I have had issues getting them to pick up trash probably 12 missed pickups. Sometimes back to back weeks. I called each time and told them sometimes they showed up to get it when they said and others they didn't. The WORST customer service that I have EVER experienced. We recently moved to a new home in Trenton, TN. I contacted Republic on 04/23/2020 in regard to contracting with them for garbage pick up. I was told that my account would start the following week. The following week on April 28th there was no service. I gave it a few days and called in. TERRIBLE COMPANY ! Fraudulent. In the end, you will get spotty trash pick up service. They will charge you FULL price then BLAME YOU for a non-truthful accounts. It’s shameful when you must install a SECURITY camera to PROVE your complaints. Never Again. !!

This company has the WORST customer service I have ever encountered. I have been trying since January to have a payment for our business account in Boone NC researched and corrected. I have emailed their A/R department multiple times, sent copies of the checks, and no one has ever contacted me. Even after I sent an email that I was reporting Republic Services to the BBB if I didn't have a response in 48 hours. I refuse to call this company because I want everything in writing. Terrible company!!!! Save yourself a month of headaches and get any other service you can!!! I am in Grand Rapids, MI and have had their service for 2 years. Over a month ago I asked for a replacement trash can for my cracked one. They brought a new one out a day before they said they would which meant they didn't take the old one. Now over a month later and nearly 14 hours of work on my side trying to get this garbage can out of my property... IT IS STILL THERE!!! I have been a customer of Republic Services for 20 years. I pay over $350 per quarter for residential trash service. I asked Republic Services why my rate is so high and they told me I should have requested them to lower it years ago, they compared it to cable and phone rates. They lowered it to $90 per quarter over the phone that day. I said it was not similar to phone and cable rate deals because those companies advertise their lower rates and Republic Services does not. This company is horrible - they miss picks ups on a regular basis. Their customer service is horrible and they have no accountability. They say one thing on the phone and then change what they said. Had issues with additional bags being collected, they said they would come back and pick up next day, but when I called back because they did not pick up, they said they are not picking up extra bags during the COVID 19.
