We've had Republic Services for several years, and while there have been rescheduled collections in the past this year has been the worst. In June alone there has been 4 cancelled pickups of trash or recycle. Currently, over a month of recycle material sits uncollected. Since this company is national, there are no local contacts to actually resolve issues, and the national contacts have never been helpful (but always polite). They keep raising rates without notice which I probably wouldn't be that mad about if they actually ever remembered to pick up my trash. Every week they miss either trash or recycling. This week I've contacted them 3 times for the missed pickup and it's still sitting at my curb. Extremely expensive and unhelpful. If you have any other trash options in your neighborhood I would recommend not using Republic Services. "

They are below horrible, i gave them one star only because I could not give them less. They promised me two trash carts over 3 weeks ago. I call and they apologize say it is terrible and they will get it out. When I call again I hear the same thing. Their website makes it sound like they have great customer service. They deserve a negitive number.

My experience with this company has been a complete disaster. Within one month, the company has missed our trash pick-up twice. When we called customer services, the reps were rude and impatient, often times not having any clue of when the truck would come to pick up our trash. For days, we were told, "They'll be there today, and if not today, tomorrow for sure." It's five days later and we still haven't had our trash picked up. I'm only rating this company 1 star because 0 stars is not an option. I was a customer for 3 years. My trash & recycling **** started at $90 and slowly creeped up to $130 without a warning by the time I canceled service. Every **** was more than the last and the only explanation given (after waiting on hold for 30+ minutes) was "the fees increased". On Sept. 2, 2020 I needed to start trash service at my home and in addition get a 30-yard container for our remodel project. Republic Service charged me upfront for both services. The yard container was 713.06. They posted the payment in a holding account that was not part of my account. On Dec 6, 2020 I had the yard container picked up and they charged me 539.34. I'm tired of cleaning up after the garbage men. Four out of five times they come, they leave garbage in the street. I'm not sure why the *** gentlemen are too lazy to get out of the truck and actually do something, but I feel like if they make a mess, they should clean it up. Where is the zero star option?"

We pay for trash/recycle/yard waste pick up through a charge on our Township taxes. I have lived all over the ***************** and have ***** had such terrible service or been lied to as much as with this company. Yard waste pick up was to begin the ************* in April.
