We subscribed to their services, they didn't deliver the bins initially (went to wrong address), we cancelled their services, then did against what was agreed deliver the bins, then they did not pick them up... I would give it zero stars but it is not an option. They over doubled the price from last year without any notification, they only send the invoice with ridiculous extra charges that are all made up as I found out a collector that does not have any extra charge. On top of that, they charge you $30 per can to pic it up once you cancel the service. It is a rip-off. Stay away. They don't even know how to keep their accounts. Terrible service. They missed picking up my yard waste & a neighbors across the street on mon. i called on tues & was told they would get it by fri.I called fri around 4:30p to see if they were still ********** was told yes.They never came. Now i have to go re-bag everything because the bags started to break apart with all the rain we had this week. This is not the first time they missed a pickup. Also i had to wait on hold for 30 minutes each time, & then i get a message to ask if i wanted them to call me back.

I have trash and recycle services for a little over a year now. Right after one year of service hit, I received the **** for 5th quarter bigger than my normal **** without any notification of price increase. And no, I didn't have any 'promotional price' for the first year. I called in and asked for the adjustment. They denied it saying they can't give me the credit for 'past periods' (I see it as stealing people's money). I asked to match the price for future bills. I used the 1 star only because there are no negative stars. They have incressed my rateever billing clycl by a few dollas (Quarterly) untill this period where they add 25%. Then when I called they said. "It is what it is, deal with it" So I canceled and now they want to charge me to come and get their cans. If you are considering use them, run away.

Republic Services is what is wrong about privatization of public services. Since they purchased a local garbage collector about two years ago, I saw a doubly in monthly fees. In addition, they add additional fees randomly with little explanation or recourse. I understand that a *********** investment company was the purchaser and is bent on increasing profit in any way possible. Hands down...the worst customer service EVER! I am trying to get ********************** to pick up my yard waste (which I pay for them to do every other week). I am now going on 3 missed pickups (that means 1-1/2 months of the same yard waste in the same can). This last time I even put a big cardboard sign on it that says "yard waste". Terrible customer service. I have tried to reach them by phone and by email and have had no response. They increased their rates and say they are allowed to do that in their fees section however with no prior notice required. They can't do there job. We haven't had are trash pickup done on time ever. You call them and will be transferred at least three times. Besides the fact it took them almost two weeks to deliver the cans. Not to mention at least a call every day to get that done along with any thing else."
