They have continued to raise their prices and the services have continued to degrade. They would not pick up on days scheduled or not pickup at all - shortage of drivers was the excuse. Never did they compensate on our ****.We decided to change companies; called to cancel, could not cancel till the end of the quarter - that was only a week away, acceptable. Then it took over several weeks to pickup the receptacles, again due to scheduling conflicts - they continued to charge us for the complete services during that time. The... read more

By the level of boredom of the operators at Republic you know that you will receive horrible or no service. We scheduled a bulk pickup of a cal ************** They said next day. We hauled it to the end of our driveway and left it there, for two days. We called back and they said they had canceled the request and scheduled it for later....no apologies.

Waited 3 weeks and paid $50 for trash services to never receive them in any way. They kept me on hold for at least 30 minutes each time I would call in for nothing to get done. I would recommend going through any other company for trash services. After 3 weeks I never received one of the 3 call backs I was supposed to receive or even a trash container. It should not take weeks to get a trash can delivered.

This company is the worst company to do business with. Really crappy customer service. I recently moved to a new home on 7/3 and set up service with this company on 7/3. The company promissed that they will deliver the garbage bins the next pick up window on 7/9. It has been almost a month and I have yet to received my garbage bills. I had to call them every week to complaint. In addition I am being charged for the entire month. When the company has never stop and pick up any garbage at my properties. I have been a client of Republic since March of 2021. I am posting this as of July 31, 2021. We picked them as our vendor because we were aware they were going to become the sole vendor for ******, ******** in short order. Their service was fine until the City wide contract took affect. Then things went from good to bad. We not only have our trash pickup with them, but also opted for their Recycling Program. I have been a Republic Services customer for many years but lately they have forgotten the meaning of the word SERVICES. They often leave the 90 gallon bin on its side and sometimes teetering on the edge of the drainage ditch. I am not a big person so it is hard for me to get the bin back in its upright position. Often times they drop the large ( flattened) boxes when they lift the bin but they do not get out and pick them up. They simply leave them in the street for me to pick up. Terrible account/billing experience: Tried to setup an account for a move in 2020, but they messed up the billing and ended up sending some portion of a **** to a debt collection company without even sending me an e-mail about it. Ended up trying to use paper billing.. Overall, just terrible and Ill find another company for trash service. Oh yeahLong wait times on customer service calls.

This is the worst waste management service I had in the past 10 years. Collecting miscellaneous fees .After I decide to cancel, they charge customer service fee $5.99 for the cancel billing, charge $11 + for environmental recovery fee explaining as gas charge with already charged trash can removal fee $33 to collect trash can. Be careful when you sign up for their service!

I have been severely disappointed by the business practices of Republic in **********, IN> Toward the end of June I received a new invoice for service for July, Aug, Sept. The price increased significantly, a steady pattern, so I sought out alternatives. After securing new and more economical service, I canceled my Republic service on June 28th.
