Company increases prices yearly. When you go to cancel service its takes months for them to pick up unit with a charge. Several attempts to contact company with no results.

Was paying way more a quarter than my neighbors. Was paid up to May 31st and quit putting my container out after that. Tried calling several times could never get through to anyone. They keep sending past due notices and now said it will be going to collection. Not paying! Has made no attempt to pick up my container, and I wont be paying for them to retrieve their own container either.

They purchased my current trash services, Heartland Waste, in ***********, ** three weeks ago. Since then I have had no trash pickup, no follow up to any of my phone calls. Terrible customer service.. Will never use them or recommend them to anyone.. I can't even find someone there to get my money back on services that I paid Heartland waste...

I had residential trash and recycle service from Republic (and previous companies merged with Republic) since ****. I found I was being billed 3 approximately $200 per quarter more than what they were charging one nextdoor neighbor and about $250 per quarter more than another nextdoor neighbor - for the same service. When I began using Republic Services 2 years ago, I was charged $30 for each can to be delivered (1 for regular trash, 1 for recyclable trash), plus $40.12 for fuel & environmental, plus $5.95 administration fee. I am moving and have cancelled my service. I am being charged another $30 fee per trash can to be picked up. I have been a customer for 22 yrs and the fee kept going up and up then a fuel recovery fee is added my **** was over $ ****** for three months. I called and they made an adjustment but once again its above $ ****** my fuel recovery fee was almost $40.00 but a neighbors was only $11.00 wth!!! I called to cancel and was told of the $60.00 pick up fee . I will never use this company again and will advise everyone I know against them how they ***** ppl !!!!

Frequently fail to pick up trash cans.Call them and they take forever to answer.Then still dont pick up the trash can they missed.Must be great to be republic services - a monopoly where there is no other choice for the houses to choose another provider.

This is the worst business to use for your garbage services. We have been fighting with this company working on three weeks for this them to come out and do their job. They are quick to send us a **** but as far as doing their job according to their supervisor they are short handed drivers and ITS OKAY IF WE GO WEEKS WITHOUT PICKING UP.
