Republic Services is terrible. Our company has been using them for years, but they have become a huge headache. Constantly miss pick *** and the amount of money that we pay monthly is ridiculous! The fee has gone up hundreds of dollars in the past few years. They do not give you any notice of price increases. I have been trying to cancel service since the beginning of September. Each time I call, I am transferred to someone in "Business" and the person that I speak with tells me the same thing each time...they are not allowe... read more

This company is very deceiving. I spoke with a representative of the company on 10/20/21 to setup services. I paid the $50.00 deposit that was required. I was given a date that the trash container would be delivered along with my weekly pick up day. However, the next day(10/21/21) I was informed that services could not be started because of a past due balance that I am not aware of. The representative was deceiving with the whole situation. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'VE BEEN APPROVED BY THIS GARBAGE COMPANY FOR TRASH CAN PICK UP & RETURN TO MY GARAGE. IT'S BEEN 3 WEEKS OF NUMEROUS CALLS TO THEM AND NO ONE HAS PROVIDED ME THIS SERVICE!! I'M A PRISONER OF THIS COMPANY CAUSE THERE ARE NO OTHER COMPANIES IN MY AREA WHO PICK UP TRASH!!! HORRIBLE COMPANY

Ordered a bulk pick up a couple weeks ago, today was my schedule dateb 10/22. I notice my pick up has yet to be made upon arriving home from work. So I call to make sure I'm still on schedule and informed they will no longer be picking up my item until the 25th. The dispatcher I spoke with tells me the change was input at 10 a m. I called at 440 pm.no one notified me, zero communication. This is my third time ordering a bulk pick up with this company and the third time my scheduled date was changed. As a long-term customer of ********************** here at *************, ********, I can comment on the companies effort to navigate these narrow streets in all kinds of weather to provide a well-needed service to this community. I have witnessed time and time again their drivers going out of their way to pick up our refuse and recyclables in a courteous manner, having to do so in an environment where navigating the many obstacles here make for a very stressful workday for their employees, yet they still manage to get the jo... read more

I am a long time customer of *****************************************. I have had numerous missed pickups over the years. Failure to pick up over flow bags or cardboard etc. Today my barrel was only half emptied. Three bags were compacted in the bottom. I was made to feel like it was my fault. I was told that the drivers will not get out of the truck. No where on their website or in any mailings are customers informed that if bags get stuck you are out of luck and on your own. I quit service from republic services o July 23***** , because they missed 8 weeks of picking up my trash container, I paid for the next year of service on July 1 ***** i was due a refund from them , first they said it would take 3 weeks, I waited , contacted them , they then said it would *********** to 8 weeks, I waited , again no refund, I have contacted them several times since,each time they say it will *********** to 8 weeks. Obviously my rating coincides with previous ones. The Republic services lives up to its product. WHAT A WASTE. So far it has taken almost a month to obtain a trash bag order. They take the money up front and do not deliver. Five calls made to them and close to 3 hours of time and the issue has still not been resolved DO YOURSELF AN FAVOR AND USE A DIFFERENT TRASH SERVICE.
